Pink Lemonade

So here's what I know about pink lemonade...it's sweeter than regular lemonade and it tastes especially delicious in an Arnold Palmer (lemonade and iced tea). I figure since it's pink I must be supporting breast cancer in some way. It's too bad the lemons that make pink lemonade aren't pink cause I think that would be so beautiful to see pink lemons at fruit stands or the market. But maybe the saying about a rose by any other name applies to lemons as well. I try and buy pink ribbon things as often as I can, from laundry detergent to yogurt. I wonder why I don't wear pink? I buy it for my daughter often enough. Maybe because I think of Pink Floyd, pink eye, Pink Panther, that song by Aerosmith, Victoria's Secret, bubblegum, baby girl stuff, and carnations for some reason. I know the expression for a newbie is a "greenie", but I really think it should be a "pinkie". Green is always green, but pink isn't white and not quite red either. I think I'll start calling myself a "pinkie" from now on. I'm drinking a pink lemonade, a Mike's hard to be exact, but do you really need to know that? By the way this is my first blog of all time!
